ART @ WAR & Blake Russell

An entirely factual conversation concerning our next project

BR: So ART AT WAR’s next series is UnOpera (an operatic chance operation)- which’ll force 10 non operatic artists to develop pieces based on a random of our choosing.

SA: Oh, opera like Rabbit of Seville? Or wait, no probably more along the lines of What’s Opera Doc?

BR: Or like that one episode in Hey Arnold! where Helga falls asleep in the theater and Harold is Pagliacci….

SA: HEY ARNOLD IS AWESOME. How do you feel about english jelly by the way?

It is a tasteless, indigestible thing, originally to be sure, a fruit of the cherry tree, but toughened and reduced to the semblance of a formless, gummy lump by long imprisonment in a bottle filled with so-called maraschino,” groused a 1911 editorial from The New York Times.
